What is the scientific basics for Ozone Therapy?
Ozone is the easiest and most effective way to get oxygen into your body. We need oxygen not only to breathe, but also to burn up toxins, by the process of oxidation, a process wherein a substance is changed chemically because of the effect of oxygen on it. Oxidation breaks the toxins down into carbon dioxide and water, and eliminates them from the body.
Is Ozone Therapy considered as a new type of therapy?
Ozone therapies have been around for a long time. They have been used clinically by European physicians for over a century. Today, there are many scientific articles which are published each month about the chemical and biological effects of ozone.
How does it work?
The Ozone Therapy Chamber is a safe and effective way to absorb ozone through your pores. Once in the body, the ozone breaks down into various oxygen subspecies which contact viruses and microbes as well as diseased or deficient tissue cells. It oxidises these cells while leaving the healthy cells alone.

Can I have Ozone therapy after my Chemo session?
We strongly advise you to wait 4 DAYS after you have had chemo before going for an ozone therapy session. Ozone therapy can increase absorption of chemo affecting the prescribed dosages. Inform and consult your Doctor before starting ozone therapy.
What NOT to do:
We strongly advise you not to drink any Vitamin C products 2 hours prior to your treatment, do not shower directly after an Ozone session, do not walk directly onto cold surfaces, do not eat a large meal after your session, Do not take prescription medication 4-6 hours before a therapy session (Medication includes blood pressure, insulin and any other prescribed medication), Do not do ozone if you have any heart condition or currently pregnant and/or breastfeeding, please do not drink any alcohol before or after your session (wait at least 8hours after your last drink), Do not do ozone within 2-3 months of mayor surgery.
The DO’s of Ozone Therapy:
- We advise all clients to drink a lot of water before and after a session. For ozone to be effective you have to at least break a sweat during your session.
- Lie down for about 20 minutes after each session. Ozone effects the body even after a therapy session. When lying down you will give the ozone chance to circulate through the body and give your organs more time to eliminate toxins that is left after detoxing.
- Wear as little clothing as possible during a session. Ozone is absorbed through the skin. To maximize the benefits of ozone it is best to wear as little as possible or even nothing at all while in the sauna.
- Drink enough supplements. Ozone promotes vitamin and mineral absorption. But WAIT at least 1 hour after each session. Supplements taken should include Vitamin B (complex), C, E, A, Zinc, Selenium, N-Acetyl-Cysteine and Copper.
Contraindications to Ozone Therapy:
- Ozone should never be used in Thyrotoxicosis and Favism (or G6PD deficiency) –
[Favism is a hereditary abnormality, affecting males more than women affecting red blood cells. If this particular enzyme is deficient (only after eating fava beans (broad beans, vicia fava) or certain other beans and various drugs) it may provoke the sudden destruction of red blood cells and lead to hemolytic anemia with jaundice. You can determine whether you are G-6-PD deficient by a simple blood test.]
- Ozone should never be given by inhalation or direct intravenous route.
- People who have had a previous stroke should consult with their doctors first. It is not the oxygen/ozone that will cause any harm but rather the increased heart rate.
- Unlike other methods of ozone application, employing ozone in a steam may induce a ‘healing crisis’, which feels like having the flu for a few days. People should be informed of this effect so they can be prepared, and welcome it as a sign of beneficial healing. Skin rashes are common as the toxins are pushed out through the skin rapidly. Often the rash is very itchy. The more frequent the treatments, the more rapid the healing, and the more severe the healing reactions will be.
How many Ozone Therapy sessions would I need?
We recommend having 1 treatment for 10 consecutive days, thereafter, coming in for weekly then monthly sessions to maintain your health benefits.
Note: To help treat disease, repeated exposures to ozone is necessary and therefore patience and perseverance is required to start seeing significant improvement. Good dietary and lifestyle changes are also imperative for significant health improvement.
Why is there so much prejudice against these therapies by the medical establishment?
A major reason for this lack of interest in ozone therapies is that ozone is a non-patentable substance that is very inexpensive to manufacture and use. In Germany, Russia and Cuba, physicians have successfully treated many serious and chronic conditions without expensive surgery. For these reasons, ozone poses a threat to the continued dominance of the medical establishment: the pharmaceutical industry, medical centres and physicians who are accustomed to providing expensive drugs, complex medical procedures and long hospital stays.
